President’s Message

Welcome to CUPE Local 5238.  I am extremely proud to be a part of such a caring, compassionate group of people who work tirelessly every single day to help students in Morden achieve success.  The Educational Assistants of Western School Division are second to none when it comes to dedication, commitment, and going the extra mile for every child, in every building, within our division.  We recognize each student as unique and we learn from them, sometimes just as much as they learn from us.  Our lives are more enriched because of the kids that we work with.  If you are a parent of kids in our division, we’d like to thank you for the blessings that are your kids.  We value them beyond words and feel privileged every single day that we get to experience life with them.  To all of our colleagues in the divisions; whether you are a teacher, administrator, secretary, custodian or bus driver, we consider ourselves very fortunate to be part of such a wonderful team.
